Who We Are
We are Hill Country MHDD Centers, and we've been serving our community's mental health needs for years. When disaster struck our neighbors, we knew we had to act.
In the wake of recent flooding that impacted so many families in our area, we opened our doors as an emergency response center because we believe no one should face crisis alone. What started as our regular mental health services has expanded into a comprehensive flood relief support hub, bringing together licensed professionals, caring volunteers, and community resources under one roof.
TheHill Country Emotional Support Center
Located at 819 Water Street in Kerrville (inside the One Schreiner Center, 1st floor), our center is designed to feel welcoming and peaceful. From our comfortable counseling areas to our children's activity space, every corner is intended to provide comfort and hope.
Our Promise
Every service we provide is completely free. We're here because our community needed us, and we'll continue to be here as long as you need support. Whether you're looking for professional counseling, practical resources, or simply a quiet place to catch your breath, our doors are open.
We're not just mental health professionals—we're your neighbors, and we're in this together.
Our Mission Right Now
We're focused on providing immediate emotional support and practical guidance to individuals and families affected by the flood. Our goal is simple: to be a safe space and help our community heal, one person at a time.
